Virginia Repossession Recording: Recorded in office of Clerk of the
Circuit Court of the county where repo property is located, if it is
located in a city, then with the Clerk of the Corporation Court. Uniform
Commercial Code adopted January, 1967.
Virginia Repossession Recovery: Peaceful repossession permitted.
Virginia Repossession Redemption: The State allows the debtor ten (10)
days to redeem repo.
Virginia Repossession Deficiency: Judgment notes are valid. Repo does
not bar suit for price and vice-versa.
